WHAT'S NEW

ONE OF THESE DAYS YOU'LL THINK I'M BRILLIANT INSTEAD OF INSANE!

Don't ever forget.... You are unique, just like everybody else.

Ponder this-

?'s---Is it cockiness when you can back up what you proclaim, is it rude if you are proven right. Does the appearance discredit the results.

A's--- No, Yes and Yes

Let's say you tell your child to not run out into the street and then they start to run out into the street and you then apply "the hand of wisdom to their seat of learning" are you a good parent or abusive. Oooo tough one huh, how about if you let them run out and get hit by a car, now are you a caring parent who didn't want to "infringe" on your child's creative release or you just didn't want to "force" your ideals or morals onto your child or are you a parent who didn't pay attention and let your child be run over? just wondering

Miscellaneous

Here's a simple explanation that holds a lot of theology...
Grace= Getting what you don't deserve.
Mercy= Not getting what you do deserve.

Here are some sayings that are just to good to pass up...
God spreads grace the way my three year-old spreads peanut butter... He gets it all over everything.

I would rather walk with God in the dark than go alone in the light

True prayer is asking God what He wants.

God loves us just the way we are but He loves us too much to leave us that way.

Did it ever occur to you that nothing ever occurs to God?

There is never an emergency in Heaven only planning.

If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it.

There are two types of people - those who come into a room and say, 'Well, here I am!' and those who come in and say, 'Ah, there you are.

"If you please man and never please God, you have nothing; If you please God and man forsakes you, you have everything."- Dorothy Patterson

This one below is probably the best one here-
Joy is not the absence of suffering, but the presence of God

Tired of Life

When my daughter was five, one of her favorite things to do was to swing on the backyard swingset, singing at the top of her lungs. One fall day, she was being uncharacteristically quiet while I raked leaves. I didn't think much about it until she announced, "Daddy, I'm tired of life." I was shocked and, immediately, rushed to the swingset. "What did you say, honey?"
She repeated, "I'm tired of Life. Tomorrow, I want Rice Crispies."

SO THERE I WAS...

I was just sitting here at work and listening to some people talk at work, in my head I was saying, "Blah, blah blah" in response to no one in particular. Then I realized I had written "BLAH BLAH BLAH" into one of my orders about four times. That's the problem with listening to all the different voices in your head, sometimes it's not the majority you listen to just the one that makes the most sense.....

Where did God come from?

The question is kind of moot when put into perspective that God created time, therefore He is outside time. You actually find several things in Genesis 1:1-2, first you find the cause of things (God created), and then all the things we have discovered, time/space/mass. This puts God outside our comprehension of things, we think of time as in a line, God can figuratively reach down along that line at any point and interact with us. I think this is why we can pray about things that have already happened but we don't know the outcome and yet God and/does hear our prayers concerning those things. Anyway, God is eternal, always was always will be, He stated it most clearly when He said His own name, "I AM". That pretty well says it all.

If God is outside time, He can then look back in time and see something you are going to do in your future....Therefore if He can see what you are going to do as if it were already done couldn't it stand to reason that He could give you a glimpse of the future in the present.....? Maybe someone would then one day call that a Dejavu...... I feel like I've written this before?
